Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Dexter E. Docallas regarding WorthSpent. If you do not agree, do not download, access, or use WorthSpent.

Distribution through the Apple App Store may also be subject to Apple’s applicable App Store terms and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (“Apple Standard EULA”). These website Terms describe the WorthSpent service and do not automatically replace Apple’s Standard EULA unless a custom EULA is separately submitted and accepted through App Store Connect. You may use WorthSpent only if you can form a binding contract under applicable law and only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. WorthSpent is intended for personal use as a general-audience finance organization tool.

WorthSpent is a personal finance organization and mindful-spending tool. It helps you plan what you can safely spend, capture receipts, organize transactions, and reflect on eligible lifestyle purchases through the WorthWise feature.

WorthSpent is not a bank, lender, broker, investment adviser, accountant, financial planner, tax adviser, legal adviser, fiduciary, credit-repair provider, or payment processor.

WorthSpent does not provide individualized financial, legal, investment, accounting, or tax advice. Calculations, insights, scores, reminders, and purchase-context features are informational tools only.

You remain responsible for your spending decisions, budgets, taxes, records, and financial obligations. If you need professional advice, consult a qualified professional.

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy of information you enter into WorthSpent
• Reviewing and correcting receipt recognition results
• Keeping your device secure and managing app permissions
• Managing exports, backups, and shared files you create
• Managing App Store subscriptions through your Apple account settings
• Complying with applicable law while using the service

Receipt recognition and on-device OCR may misread merchants, dates, totals, taxes, discounts, tips, currencies, or line items. Users must review and correct receipt data before relying on it.

WorthSpent calculations may depend on user-entered information and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Independently verify important amounts, receipt details, subscription terms, and financial decisions.

WorthWise scores, Spending Lessons, Regret Cost, Value Rate, Value Retention, Purchase Success Rate, cost-per-use results, and “Can I Spend This?” guidance are informational estimates based on available user data.

These features do not approve, reject, recommend, prohibit, or guarantee a purchase. The final spending decision belongs to you. WorthSpent does not guarantee savings, improved financial outcomes, debt reduction, profit, or purchase satisfaction.

WorthSpent may offer auto-renewable subscription options through the Apple App Store, such as monthly and annual plans. The current localized price, billing period, trial availability, and purchase terms are displayed in the app before you confirm a purchase through Apple.

Where Apple and the applicable product configuration provide an introductory free trial, eligibility is determined through Apple and may be limited to eligible users. When a trial ends, the selected subscription may begin unless cancelled within the period shown by Apple during purchase and in your Apple account settings.

Family Sharing settings, if any, are controlled through the App Store product configuration and Apple’s systems. Do not assume Family Sharing is available unless Apple’s purchase sheet or product details indicate that it is.

Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to the Apple account confirmed at purchase. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew unless cancelled through Apple according to the terms shown during purchase and Apple’s applicable policies.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account subscription settings, including at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Deleting WorthSpent from a device does not automatically cancel a subscription.

Price changes are handled according to Apple’s processes and applicable law. Restoring purchases uses Apple’s StoreKit services and your Apple account entitlements.

Refund eligibility and refund processing for App Store purchases are controlled by Apple and applicable law. WorthSpent cannot directly issue App Store refunds unless Apple’s system permits or requires a different process.

Subject to these Terms and applicable App Store rules, WorthSpent grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for lawful personal purposes on Apple devices you own or control.

This license does not give you ownership of WorthSpent software, branding, or related intellectual property.

You agree not to:

• Use WorthSpent for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to bypass subscriptions or entitlement checks
• Reverse engineer the app except where applicable law expressly permits it
• Interfere with app operation, security, or availability
• Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise devices or systems
• Use the service to violate another person’s rights
• Misrepresent WorthSpent calculations or insights as professional financial, tax, legal, or investment advice
• Use automated methods to disrupt the website

You retain ownership of the financial information, receipt images, notes, and review content you enter into WorthSpent. These Terms do not transfer ownership of that content to us.

You grant WorthSpent only the limited rights technically necessary to process, display, store, export, or delete that data according to the features implemented in the app and any actions you initiate.

WorthSpent, WorthWise, the WorthSpent logo, website content, software, and related branding are owned by Dexter E. Docallas or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use WorthSpent branding except as needed to use the service itself.

WorthSpent relies on Apple platform services such as the App Store and StoreKit for purchases, restores, and subscription management. Your use of Apple services is also subject to Apple’s applicable terms and policies.

External websites linked from WorthSpent or the WorthSpent website, including Apple legal or subscription pages, are not controlled by us.

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features of WorthSpent or the website from time to time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent availability of every feature, or compatibility with every device configuration.

You may stop using WorthSpent at any time and may delete the app from your device. You remain responsible for cancelling any active Apple subscription separately.

We may suspend or terminate access to website materials or app distribution as permitted by law, Apple platform rules, and these Terms if you violate them or if we discontinue the service.

To the extent permitted by law, WorthSpent is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the app or website will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

OCR results, calculations, notifications, device storage, synchronization features (if later enabled), and third-party platform services may fail, be delayed, or produce incomplete results.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dexter E. Docallas and WorthSpent will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising out of or related to your use of WorthSpent.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to WorthSpent or these Terms is limited to the amounts you paid, if any, for the WorthSpent subscription during the twelve months before the claim, or a modest amount required by mandatory law if greater.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify Dexter E. Docallas against claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of WorthSpent, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country or region require otherwise.

If you are a consumer, you may have rights under mandatory laws that cannot be waived by contract. These Terms are intended to be read together with those rights, not to take them away where the law does not allow that.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date on this page. If you continue using WorthSpent after changes take effect, you should review the updated Terms.
